How do I buy tickets?
Where can I buy tickets for the games?
The official ticket vendor is Milano Cortina 2026 Official Ticketing – Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. You can purchase hospitality offers on another website: Home | Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games Official Hospitality Site. Both websites are available in English and in Italian.
These are the only two official websites selling tickets for the 2026 Games.
Beware of other websites advertising Winter Olympics ticket sales!
We do not advise purchasing tickets for the Games from non-official platforms. The organisers of the Games do not authorise resale on third-party sites and reserve the right to cancel these tickets. You risk being refused access to the competition site.
What types of tickets can I buy?
There are different types of tickets offered:
- Single tickets
- “Hospitality” packages, which combine multiple offers in which the tickets are already included.
The ticket sale works on a "first come, first served" basis.
How many tickets can I buy?
In order to purchase a ticket, you must create an account on the official Olympic Games website. Each person may purchase up to 25 tickets on their account. For a single purchase, the limit is ten tickets per account. For games in high-demand, including the opening and closing ceremonies, you may purchase up to four tickets per account.

How much do tickets cost?
Normal pricing
For the Olympic Games, prices start at 30 euros and can cost up to 1400 euros.
For the Paralympic Games, prices are between 15 and 80 euros.
Here you can find the ticketing prices for all disciplines.
Reduced pricing
Children over the age of 4 must have a ticket in their own name. There is no reduced pricing for children at the Olympic Games. However, for the Paralympic Games, children under 14 years of age may benefit from reduced ticket prices, beginning at 10 euros (15 euros for the Paralympic ice hockey finale, for example).
Children under the age of 4 may attend sessions free of charge provided they remain in the arms or on the lap of an adult. For safety reasons, the Olympic Committee advises against bringing children under the age of 4.
Children between the ages of 14 and 17 may attend the events without an adult present, but they must bring their identity card along with a ticket in their name.
Individuals with reduced mobility or physical disability
Individuals with disabilities or reduced mobility may purchase tickets in specially reserved seating areas. You may also purchase a ticket for a companion. The only guarantee to have seats side by side is to purchase the tickets together. However, there is no such guarantee if the accompanying person books their ticket separately.
Individuals with a physical disability or reduced mobility pay the full price for both the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Their companion will receive a 30% reduction on the price of their ticket.
Proof of disability will be requested on site. The organisers haven’t specified the type of acceptable documentation. We advise you to carry official documents that clearly indicate your disability status. For example, your French mobility inclusion card, a medical certificate, or any other form of proof recognised in France.
Opening and closing ceremonies
Pricing varies for each ceremony:
- Olympic Games opening ceremony: from 260 to 2026 euros.
- Olympic Games closing ceremony: from 950 to 2900 euros.
- Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony: from 100 to 650 euros.

Once you have purchased your tickets…
How can I access my tickets?
Ticket sales for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games are 100% virtual, as was the case for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. There will be no paper tickets available, only an electronic version.
Make sure you have a functional electronic device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) fully charged on the day of the Game. You can access your tickets via the official ticketing app. You will receive a ticket with a QR code just before the beginning of the session.
The Milan Cortina 2026 app, launched in October 2025, is available in 12 languages, including English and French. It provides access to practical information and news about the Games. You can use it to access the ticket sale and check session schedules.
In case of problems with the application or your electronic ticket, there will be service checkpoints close to the site entrances to help you access your tickets.
Can I cancel my tickets after I have purchased them?
In principle, for all online purchases, you benefit from a 14 day right to withdrawal. But this right does not apply for online purchases made for leisure activities with pre-set dates.
Think carefully before buying your tickets! Once you have made your purchase, you cannot request a cancellation or reimbursement for your tickets.
However, you have the option of taking out cancellation insurance when purchasing tickets. This option is reserved for persons residing in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. This insurance may allow you to cancel a ticket in the event of an accident, illness, relocation or other unforeseen events. Read the terms and conditions carefully before taking out insurance!
Can I re-sell my tickets if I no longer want to attend the Games?
There will be an official resale platform starting from December 2025. It will be the only way to resell your ticket if you have changed your mind. Resale will be at the same price as the initial purchase, but commission fees will apply.
Moreover, you may transfer or offer your ticket to someone else. Tickets are nominative, meaning the name of the ticket holder will appear on them. However, it is possible to change the name on your ticket free of charge.

Where can I purchase official Milano Cortina 2026 merchandise?
Two official shops have already opened in Milan: one in Largo Cairoli square and the other in San Babila square. They sell the full range of officially licensed Games merchandise: hoodies, T-shirts, caps, mugs, pins, keyrings, etc. These two shops accept only two payment methods: Visa cards and cash.
If you are unable to visit the shops in person, you can also order online. The official Milan Cortina 2026 app offers exclusive merchandise for sale.
However, be wary of other websites selling Olympic merchandise! These may be counterfeit items. Possession of such items is illegal. Certain signs should alert you: prices that are too low, absence of legal notice, products that do not exist on the official website, etc.
